The imposing location of Heinfels Castle has always fascinated visitors: Beda Weber, theologian and writer, aptly described the castle's fascination as "the queen who soars into the air" in his "Handbook for Travellers" in 1838. Join us on a journey through time, immerse yourself in the history of the castle and enjoy impressive views from the high towers and battlements!

ASSLING WILDLIFE PARK
The Assling Wildlife Park in East Tyrol makes animal lovers' hearts beat faster. Many species of native wild animals are represented here and are waiting to be visited. The marvellous location on the Pustertal Valley sun terrace is another good reason to visit this wildlife park. A summer toboggan run is connected to the animal park!
Open daily from mid-April to the beginning of November.

From 04 July 2024 - Demonstrations 2024: The demonstrations take place on Tuesday at 3.00 pm and on Thursday at 10.00 am. Ticket price € 15,- for adults, children's ticket up to 14 years 50%, up to 6 years free.
Opening hours 2024: In July and August, the open-air museum is open on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 10.00 - 16.00 (no demonstration).

WURZERHOF
The Wurzerhof in the Villgratner Winkeltal valley is considered unique in Tyrol. Since 1999, the complex with its farmyard, chapel, washhouse with smelch, sawmill and flour mill has been a listed building. Discover the 300-year-old listed Wurzerhof. Guided tours (Fridays from 2 p.m.) explain the farm, its history and how it is run today.

The Galitzenklamm gorge is an adventure park on the Drau cycle path. The season opens in May and then it's time to enter, experience and find out what this water adventure park is all about. But what is actually on site? A water show trail teeming with spectacular bridges and steep rock faces. The Galitzenbach stream rushes adventurously and spectacularly down into the valley. The Lienz Dolomites tower above it all. You can also watch the climbers from a safe distance.
