Carnic High Trail
All hikes have been awarded the "Mountain Trail Seal of Quality".
The Carnic High Trail, also known as the "Peace Trail" (KHW 403), runs along the entire Carnic Ridge, which marks the border between Austria and Italy. From Sillian to Arnoldstein, it stretches over a length of 156 km (about 105 km as the crow flies). The route is divided into 8 to 11 daily stages and can be completed in a total of 26.5 hours walking time.
Three Peaks circular hike
The Three Peaks - Unesco World Heritage Site - are considered the most famous mountain formation in the world and offer the possibility of a circular hike. The famous peaks are always in view.
From the Auronzo hut on the south side of the Three Peaks, trail no. 101 leads past the Lavaredo hut (2,344 m). The path climbs gently to the Paternsattel (2,454 m), where you get your first impressive view of the 500 metre high north faces of the Three Peaks (approx. 1 hour to get here; also recommended for inexperienced hikers). Slightly descending, the trail crosses under the Paternkofel to the next fork in the trail: a) easy ascent to the Drei Zinnen hut (2,405 m) b) descending further to the left, trail no. 105 leads past the Lange Alpe mountain hut and circles the Drei Zinnen on the west side.
Tuesdays: Guided hike in the Villgratental valley
The guided nature and culture hike on the Herz-Ass route in the Villgratental valley takes place every Tuesday.
Price for the weekly guided hike is € 35 per person.
Individual day tours on request.
Dates: every Tuesday from 25 June to 24 September 2024.
Participants: min. 4 people.
Duration: day tours with local mountain or hiking guide approx. 4-6 h

Hiking in the Lienz Dolomites
The Lienz Dolomites are a small hiking and climbing paradise south of Lienz. They stretch over 40 kilometres, from the Kartischer Sattel to the Gailbergsattel near Oberdrauburg.
